Top 5 Hack and Slash Apps on Android in Kenya Q2 2022

In the second quarter of 2022, the top five hack and slash apps on the Android platform in Kenya showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the data, courtesy of Sensor Tower.

Fighting Tiger - Liberal maintained a consistent presence with weekly downloads ranging from 1.8K to 5.3K, peaking at around 5.4K in early April. However, there was a noticeable drop in mid-May to around 1.8K, followed by a recovery to 3.8K by the end of June. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at 12.6K and dipping to 8.2K in mid-June before climbing back to 10.9K by the end of the quarter.

Ninja Ryuko: Shadow Ninja Game experienced significant growth in downloads, beginning with just 11 downloads at the end of March and skyrocketing to 6.6K by the end of June. Active users saw a similar surge, starting at 77 and reaching 11.3K by the end of June. Revenue, while minimal, showed a slight increase, with a peak at $3 in the final week of June.

MARVEL Future Fight had varied performance. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at 933 and dropping to a low of 25 in mid-May before rising again to 995 by the end of June. Revenue peaked at $149 in early May but remained modest throughout the quarter. Active users started at 7.6K and saw a slight decline, ending the quarter at around 6.8K.

Stormblades saw a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting at 300 and dropping to 195 by the end of June. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 301 and decreasing to 214 by the end of the quarter.

Iron Blade: Medieval Legends had relatively stable download numbers, starting at 123 and peaking at 247 by the end of June. Active users showed a slight increase from 433 at the end of March to 601 by the end of June.
